Porcupine Tree started out as an in-joke between Steven Wilson and a friend (early recordings were purportedly the back catalogue of a fictional seventies supergroup ‘The Porcupine Tree’ that Wilson created) Almost 20 years later the group is a hundred thousand selling band, selling out arenas across the world.

Throughout this period they have evolved from a psychedelic solo studio project to one of the most revered live bands on the planet, releasing 11 critically acclaimed albums, a host of singles and various re-mastered and re-mixed reissues. Until now little of this extensive catalogue of classic recordings has been available digitally. Snapper Music are now going to release the following albums:

On The Sunday Of Life – released December 10th 2007
Debut album released in 1991 on Delirium Records.

Up The Downstair (special edition) – released December 10th 2007
Second full length alum released in 1993. This special edition of the album features the re-recorded 2005 accompanied by the rare companion release ‘Staircase Infinities.’

The Sky Moves Sideways (special edition) – released December 17th 2007
1995 album remixed and remastered with bonus tracks.

Signify (special edition) – released December 17th 2007
1996 album and the first recorded entirely with full band. This special edition features a complete bonus album called Insignificance that was previously released as a fan club cassette in an edition of only 500 copies.

Coma Divine (special edition) – released January 1st 2008
Live album recorded in Rome in 1997 over 3 nights. Features highlights from the first 4 albums and special edition contains bonus tracks.

Stupid Dream (special edition) – released January 7th 2008
New edition of the classic 1999 studio album containing a new Steven Wilson remix / remaster of the original album. ‘Essential’ Classic Rock

Voyage 34 – released January 14th 2008
Extended version of early (30 minute) single, an underground club classic and indie chart hit.

Metanoia – released January 21st 2008
Selection of instrumental studio jams from the Signify sessions.
