Tiles has posted a track, Sacred and Mundane, from their forthcoming album on their website. You’ll need, unfortunately, some kind of plugin to hear the tune. Anyway, most of the guitar work heard on the track (electric and acoustic) are courtesy of Alex Lifeson. Besides Lifeson, the album has other Rush associations – it was produced by longtime Rush producer Terry Brown and Hugh Syme did the cover.

Neil Peart has posted more tales (and photos) from his recent travels on Rush’s European tour. Read it all here.

Bob Cesca, a featured blogger over at the Huffington Post, has posted a Thanking The Shit Out Of Stuff article, and Rush’s Snakes & Arrows is mentioned:
The music industry is on life support. But Rush continues to record original, thought-provoking music without the help of radio, Rolling Stone magazine or the mainstream music press (say nothing of the exclusionary R&R Hall of Fame). Their new album, “Snakes & Arrows,” guided by Foo Fighters producer Nick Raskulinecz, is energetic, heavy, poignant and inspired. I’ve listened to the lead track, “Far Cry,” maybe a thousand times this year and I’m still not sick of it.
