Geoff Downes and John Wetton have contributed to a track on the forthcoming re-make of Wishbone Ash’s 1972 album Argus. The project is currently being recorded by Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash, and is scheduled for release in February 2008.
Geoff and John’s contribution was reproducing the Hammond and Vocals on “Throw Down the Swordâ€. Further information can be found at www.wishboneash.co.uk.
The blend of the voices of Martin and John – two of the true signature voices of classic rock – proved to be the perfect combination, breathing new life into the song’s harmony vocal parts, while at the same time retaining full respect for the original arrangement.
