Zeppelin on MySpace and iTunes

I guess it was inevitable. Zeppelin has a MySpace page. Indeed, there has been a flurry of activity in recent days to promote not only their reunion concert but also the release of Mothership, a 24-track collection of the band’s best-known songs. And Apple has announced that a special digital boxed-set containing Zeppelin’s entire discography, The Complete Led Zeppelin, is now available for pre-order exclusively on iTunes.

Zappa Plays Zappa on Conan O’Brien

Zappa Plays Zappa will appear on Late Night with Conan O’Brien tomorrow night, October 30th.

New Pink Floyd Box Set

In December, Pink Floyd will be releasing a mega box set titled, Oh By The Way, to coincide with their 40th anniversary. It will contain all of the band’s studio albums, each packaged in a faux-vinyl sleeve. In case you don’t remember your Floyd discography, the albums are:

Porcupine Tree to Stream Live Set!

Porcupine Tree will stream their set from tonight’s Voodoo Music Experience live at www.iclips.net – for FREE. The streaming is set to begin at 6:55PM, Eastern.

Genesis Live 2-Disc Ships November 26th

Next month Genesis will release “Live Over Europe,” a double-disc set including a number of songs the band hasn’t performed in decades. Among them are Peter Gabriel-era tunes such as closer “Carpet Crawlers,” “Firth of Fifth” and “I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe).” The group also dusted off the two-part instrumental “Duke’s Intro” and oldies like “Home by the Sea” and “Ripples.”

Also on Nov. 20, Rhino will issue a 12-disc boxed set featuring expanded editions of the group’s albums from 1983-1998. Here’s the tracklist for “Live Over Europe”:
